My journey started with late-night videos of Smokey Nagata and Akira Nakai. Watching Smokey push the limits was inspiring. When Nakai hand-crafted his RWB builds, it showed me that cars are more than machines. They’re a form of expression.
They inspired me to chase the best version of myself. I wanted to create a place where I could share that passion. Overdrive Society grew out of that spark. Everything I do here traces back to those early moments. Those moments made me fall in love with car culture.

Culture
The inspiration for Overdrive Society came from the images that shaped car culture. I saw Smokey Nagata’s Top Secret Supra flying through the night. Akira Nakai hand-building RWB Porsches also impressed me. These experiences showed me what passion and craftsmanship look like. Photos of midnight meets at Daikoku Futo captivated me. Images of GT3 RSs on the Nürburgring fascinated me. The clean perfection of Koenigsegg hypercars pulled me in even deeper.
Those visuals sparked everything. They’re the reason I fell in love with cars. I built this platform to share that same energy.
